Photo 1: Manual BiSlide Assembly with optional digital counter
Why BiSlide?
Used primarily for motor driven applications, manual BiSlides may be a better choice because:
-- they are less expensive when compared to Series A40, A60 or B90 UniSlides when travel distances greater than 20"-30"
-- you want a stage that is easily converted from manual to motor driven use
-- you require hard coat anodized finish (standard for BiSlides). And you need it soon.
-- they do not require adapter plates or brackets to make multi-axis systems
-- higher cantilevered load capacity when compared to comparable UniSlides
