Graduated knob models have

Accurate lead screw: these screws
are calibrated to have a lead error of less than 0.0015"/10"
length or 0.033 mm/20 cm length.
Adjustable drive nut: Except
in the Series A15 (where space is not available), all drive nuts
have an adjustment screw to minimize backlash.
Lithographed scales are marked in 0.025"
or 1 mm increments. Maximum lengths are 36" and 1 meter. When
ordering units longer than that, add a revolution
counter.

If the scale obscured or covered or the unit is used upside down,
use a revolution counter in place of the lithographed scale.

table with Graduated Knob option.
or
Mount the scale on side edge. In this case the scale will be shipped
loose so you can attach it where you want it. Attach your own index
pointer to the slider carriage. This
unit will be used upside down. Lock and hash mark on the
end bearing block have been relocated.
