Coordinates

We use 3-D Cartesian/machine tool coordinates to identify each axis.

Coordinate designations are:
"X" is the bottom horizontal axis. (Axis 1 on the form.)
"Y" crosses the "X" at 90 degrees and is also in the horizontal plane
"Z" axis runs vertically (perpendicular) to the "X" or "Y" axis
Theta (rotary) can be on any axis.
